Extinction Rebellion: Do the ends justify the means?

Over 20 protestors have already been arrested today at Extinction Rebellion’s London blockade.

London is being brought to a standstill today as the activist group began their planned Autumn uprising. This protest is set to be much bigger than the previous one in April.

Although Extinction Rebellion has planned to minimise disruptions for ordinary Londoners, they have admitted their protest may impact emergency workers at St Thomas’s Hospital.

Echoing April’s protests, public opinion is split in its reaction to the disruptions.
